There've been some interesting articles about the brain and how we perceive time recently.
One was reviewed on the Radio 4 Today programme - just about
time to listen again if you click quickly. The premise was that if people believe time passed very fast, regardless of the actual time, then they thought the activity was enjoyable.
There are some interesting questions this could throw up for a training environment - the first one being why are there always clocks in there to tell people exactly how much time is passing by?
